We have a lot of events slated for the weeks and months to come that we’re happy to share with you today! In addition to the weekly yoga session at the studio in Corning, we have a few workshops and retreats you’ll want to consider working into your schedule as well. Here goes…
1. Yoga! (6-week session): Come check out yoga at our next Thursday night session (May 17-June 21) at the studio in Corning, 5:30-7 p.m.
2. Yoga in the Park at the Creston Farmers Market in McKinley Park, starting Monday, June 4, 5:30-6:30 pm. Continuing for the first Monday of each month: July 2, August 6, September 3, October 1. Please bring a yoga mat or beach towel, and a water bottle. This event is free of charge.
3. Pints & Poses (June 8 at 7 p.m.) is a fun way to give yoga a try for the first time. Michelle will teach a 90-minute yoga class at the studio, and then we’ll hang out over snacks and a glass of beer or wine (or cup of tea). Bring a healthy snack and a bottle to share. Cost: $10.
4. Summer Solstice Retreat (June 24 at Henry A. Wallace Country Life Center near Orient, IA): This collaboration with yoga instructors Teresa Hoffelmeyer (The Yoga Studio in Winterset) and Sarah Costa, as well as Jewels Weisshaar, a Nia white and green belt instructor, will energize your summer. 5. Yoga Hike (July 21 at Lake Icaria): We’ll start at the Marina to hike the Pine Trail. Midway through the hike, we’ll pause at a clearing for an outdoor class and picnic lunch. Details coming…

7. Yoga Camp (September 8-9) An overnight retreat staying at the yurts at Pammel State Park, this special retreat will feature multiple yoga classes, a nature hike, bonfire and more. Details coming…
